Step 6: Test the Plan

Work with emergency event partners by utilizing various training methodologies such as a tabletop exercise or a functional exercise to test components of your plan. These exercises should be designed to find any existing planning gaps and build awareness on ways to collaborate more resourcefully and successfully during response. Ensure that all observations and lessons learned are captured in an after-action report.
